Taking advantage of Black Friday I picked up an M2 iPad Pro along with the pencil 2, and Magic Keyboard.
I tend to like fewer distractions when I’m writing or doing stuff on my websites. The search for the best professional tools for doing this has been an ongoing quest for a few years now. So far I’m just getting everything setup, installing the apps, getting used to the new keyboard, and so on. I think this may well be my main platform for both my personal writing and AI generated content. I’m even hoping I can do most of the photo and video editing on here.
The content that will flow most naturally is that which I create on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I opted to get the equivalent of an iPad/iPad Air (with 256 GB) except souped up quite a bit of course.
One of the apps I’m going to be trying to use more on the iPad Pro is the WordPress apps. Unlike a web browser the apps are a bit more focused. You can’t do everything on them but you can get the basic word processor stuff setup then go in on a browser to do formatting and the like. I’m sure I’ll still jump on a desktop/laptop for some stuff but in terms of portability this does seem like a good choice writing this first blog entry on it.
